Born in Cardiff, South Wales and brought up in Oxford, England, Vaughan has lived in the United States for the last twenty years. Although trained as a scientist, Vaughan’s heart has always been in creative design, setting up his first website in 1994, a time when there were only a few thousand websites in existence and domain names were free and plentiful!

Photography has always been important to Vaughan, particularly the potential for a good image to lift the human spirit. Landscapes and flowers are particularly good for uplifting the psyche and calming the soul in this way… think of it as ‘umami for the eyes’.
