Lowertown magician Star Newman to appear on Penn & Teller’s “Fool Us” show on March 4th, 2022
Nigel Parry, Lowertown.info—Star Newman lived in Lowertown for many years while working on props and stage management at the Park Square Theater in Downtown Saint Paul, delighting crowds with her pop-up street magic at art crawls, and working as an event magician though her business Pretty Magical. In February, Star announced that she would be appearing on “Fool Us”, magicians Penn Jillette & Teller’s show on The CW Network, which has aspiring magicians perform their best tricks to try and fool the world-famous team.
