lowertown.info—Longtime Lowertown Lofts Artists Cooperative resident and Lowertown community member Allison Hoogervorst passed away in an apparent accident in the first week of October at her home in Desert Hot Springs, California, on the edge of Joshua Tree National Park, where she had been living for the last several years. No memorial event has been announced yet. A group of Allison’s family members, friends, and neighbors are collecting written recollections and photos of Allison through the years.
